Photos: Female Somali journalist killed in an explosion from a bomb planted in her car

Hindiya Haji Mohamed, a female journalist working with Somalia's national television station, SNTV was killed when a bomb exploded under her car in Mogadishu Thursday December 3rd. Mohamed was returning home from university when the bomb detonated. She later died of her wounds at the hospital. Her late husband, also a journalist with the same television station, was killed in a suicide attack on a Mogadishu restaurant in 2012.

Barcelona defender and partner to pop star Shakira, Gerard Pique penned an open letter to Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg just hours after he announced the birth of his daughter and pledged to donate 99% of his Facebook shares to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, a company that Facebook says will “pursue its mission by funding non-profit organisations, making private investments and participating in policy debates, in each case with the goal of generating positive impact in areas of great need.”
